LABORATORY ENGINEER
to work on Raman spectroscopy for Alzheimer’s
The overall goal of this project is the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease by spectroscopic methods. The idea is to investigate cerebrospinal fluid with respect to specific biomarkers. Special focus for this job and the candidate lies on
• Preparation of liquid samples
• Raman measurements
• Coordination of measurements by infrared absorption spectroscopy at UPV
• Data preparation and data analysis
Type of contract: Temporary - 4 months (September-December 2018)
Required degree: Bachelor/Masters in any related Engineering field, physics or chemistry
Required experience : Data analysis, handling of chemicals, optical spectroscopy
