TECHNICIAN

to work as

María de Maeztu Project Assistant

NanoGUNE is a research center devoted to conducting world-class nanoscience research for a competitive growth of the Basque Country. NanoGUNE is a member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA) and is recognized by the Spanish Research Agency as a María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence (project MDM-2016-0618)

The aim of the position:

• Manage the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence project from a technical point of view, taking care of coordinating scientific deliverables and preparing technical documents such as periodical reports from the funding agency.
• Support the María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence in other related matters, such as new funding proposals, recruitment of new personnel, organization of events, scientific communication activities and others.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a scientific (Physics, Chemistry, etc.) or in a Management subject and experience in the following points will be positively considered:

• Scientific project management
• Working in an international scientific environment.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Self-motivated and a team player. 

We offer a 8 months full-time contract in an international and competitive environment, with a team that performs research at the highest level.
