CIC nanoGUNE, located in San Sebastian, Basque Country (Spain), is a research center created with the mission of conducting basic and applied world-class research in nanoscience and nanotechnology, supporting the growth of a nanotechnology-based industry.

Postdoctoral Position
Project name: Growth of mixed metal nitride thin films
The aim of the project is to approach controlled growth of mixed metal nitride films by atomic layer deposition (ALD). The work will include the process development for such films, evaluation of various precursor combinations and the characterization of the deposited materials with various microscopies and spectroscopies.
The research within this project will be done in collaboration with partner institutions in Europe who will complement our in-house characterization methods with their expertise and instrumentation.
The successful candidate will have a PhD degree and a strong background in chemistry, related to metal organic chemistry, which will be proven with a solid record of publications. Further expertise either in electron microscopy or coating technologies will be considered beneficial.
