The Nanoengineering group at the CIC nanoGUNE (San Sebastian, Spain) is looking for a assistant or intern student to work on photonic systems for biosensing
Description of the project
In the Nanoengineering Group we develop methods, devices and instrumentation for photonic biosensing. In this context, we are building up several optical modules and devices that need to be optimized and tested. At the same time, we develop mathematical algorithms to understand the measurement data provided by our instrumentation. We are looking for several students who could support different research fields within these multidisciplinary projects.
The variety of different tasks will be covered by different students. It is not expected that one student is in charge of all tasks.
- Assembly and adjustment of optomechanical components
- Systematic optical measurements
- Data management and data analysis
- Preparation of graphical representations of data and results
Required degree: Undergraduate or graduate student in any Engineering field, Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics
Knowledge and competences: Interdisciplinary working style, fluent in English, well organized working style
What we offer: contract from 01/03/2019 to 31/12/2019
