LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
to work on
Nanobiotechnology
The prospective candidate will be in charge of lab organization and management but will also be involved in research projects. (S)he will learn all the scientific and technical aspects of the lab research that involve, cell culture, molecular cloning, protein expression and purification, cutting-edge single-molecule instrumentation, and imaging techniques.
Offer: The initial appointment is a fixed-term position for one year, with the expectation to be extended to a permanent position. CIC nanoGUNE features an excellent infrastructure for advanced nanoscale research and engineering work, as well as related scientific studies. The working language at nanoGUNE is English.
Knowledge and competences required: The candidate should have a degree in chemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, or related areas with a strong background in molecular biology and/or protein biochemistry. A Master or PhD degree will be positively evaluated. Furthermore, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and the willingness to face new challenges, solve problems, and achieve goals. Proficiency in spoken and written English is compulsory. Knowledge in lab risk prevention is a plus.
